Mr. Veve, a founding partner of the firm, is a graduate of the University of Michigan, (B.A., Political Science, 1969); the University of Puerto Rico (J.D., 1972, cum laude); and George Washington University, Washington, D.C. (LL.M., Labor Law, 1975).  He is admitted to the bars of Washington, D.C., Virginia and Puerto Rico, and his areas of practice include corporate law, commercial transactions, government contracts, employment law, and nonprofit organizations.

Mr. Veve was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, and he is fluent in Spanish and English.  Mr. Veve is one of the founding partners of Lasa Monroig & Veve, and he works from the firm's office in the Tysons Corner area of Northern Virginia.  His past experience includes having served as General Counsel of the Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration (1977-1978) and as General Counsel of the United Press International (1987-1989).  He is a member of the Hispanic Bar Association of Virginia.
